AirSampler is built around local recording and local network sync. The iPhone app records audio only when you start recording, and the Mac Bridge reads those samples over your local network after pairing.

Microphone

The iPhone app asks for microphone access so it can record samples. Recordings are stored in the AirSampler app library on the device.

Local Network

AirSampler uses local network access so the Mac Bridge can discover the iPhone app and sync samples. This is intended for devices on the same network.

Analytics

AirSampler does not include third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or account sign-in. The app can check airsampler.app for rare product news, but it does not send your recordings, library, or personal profile.

Data Collection

AirSampler does not collect personal data through the iPhone app. Your recordings stay in the app library unless you share them or sync them to your own Mac Bridge.
